ONE PAGE WONDER — TERMS OF SERVICE

These terms apply to the purchase of One Page Wonder, a productised Squarespace website service provided by The Alchemy of Design.

By purchasing One Page Wonder, you agree to the terms below.

1. WHAT'S INCLUDED

One Page Wonder includes:

  • Strategy and website planning

  • One custom website concept

  • One-page Squarespace website design and build

  • Responsive/mobile optimisation

  • Website launch preparation

  • Up to two rounds of revisions

SEO is not included in One Page Wonder.

Done-for-You SEO is available as a separate optional add-on and is charged separately.

Additional pages are available as separate add-ons at €400 per page, subject to any applicable One Page Wonder discount.

2. ONE CONCEPT

One Page Wonder is based on my One Concept Method.

This means I develop one considered creative direction for your website rather than presenting multiple design concepts.

The concept is developed based on the information, content, brand assets and direction you provide during the project.

The two included revision rounds are for refining this agreed direction.

They are not an opportunity to request an entirely new design direction.

3. REVISIONS

Two rounds of revisions are included in your One Page Wonder project.

Feedback should be provided as one consolidated set of notes for each revision round.

Revisions may include changes to:

  • Layout

  • Typography

  • Images

  • Colours

  • Content placement

  • Design details

  • Minor functionality

SEO changes are not included within the two revision rounds unless the Done-for-You SEO add-on has also been purchased.

Requests that substantially change the agreed scope, require additional pages, introduce new functionality or require a completely new design direction may incur an additional fee.

Additional work will be discussed and agreed before it is carried out.

4. CONTENT & CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

All website copy, images, brand assets, links and other required content must be supplied before your project start date.

Your project timeline begins once your project has started and I have received everything required to begin the work.

If content is missing or supplied late, your project start date may need to be rescheduled.

Delays caused by missing content, late feedback or failure to provide required access may affect the agreed completion date.

You are responsible for ensuring that all content you provide is accurate and that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use any text, images, fonts, photography or other materials supplied.

5. PROJECT START DATE & RESCHEDULING

Your project start date is selected when you book One Page Wonder.

Please only select a date when you expect to have all required content ready.

If you need to change your start date, please contact me as soon as possible.

Rescheduling is subject to availability.

Repeated or last-minute rescheduling may result in your project being moved to the next available start date.

6. PAYMENT

One Page Wonder is available as either:

Full payment at the time of booking, or

50% payment plan, where available.

For payment plans, the remaining balance must be paid before the website is launched.

Your website will not be launched until the full project balance has been received.

7. NO REFUNDS

Because One Page Wonder is a bespoke creative service and project time is reserved specifically for you, payments are non-refundable once your booking has been confirmed, subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

This includes deposits and payments made under a payment plan.

If you need to reschedule, I will do my best to accommodate you subject to availability, but rescheduling does not automatically create a right to a refund.

8. SQUARESPACE SUBSCRIPTION

The Squarespace subscription required to host and operate your website is not included in the One Page Wonder price.

You are responsible for purchasing and maintaining your own Squarespace subscription.

Any Squarespace subscription fees, domain fees, third-party integrations, plugins, fonts, stock imagery or other third-party costs are your responsibility unless specifically stated otherwise.

9. DOMAIN & THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

You are responsible for purchasing and maintaining your domain name.

Any third-party services connected to your website — including booking systems, email marketing platforms, payment processors, Shopify, Google services or other integrations — are not included unless specifically stated in your project scope.

Third-party subscription and usage fees are your responsibility.

10. LAUNCH

Your website will be prepared for launch once:

  • The agreed design has been approved

  • Included revisions have been completed

  • All required content has been supplied

  • Any outstanding balance has been paid

  • Required Squarespace and third-party access has been provided

Once the website has been approved and launched, further changes are not included in the original project price.

11. ADDITIONAL WORK

One Page Wonder is intentionally a focused service.

Requests outside the agreed scope — including additional pages, extensive copywriting, additional functionality, additional revisions or significant structural changes — may be charged separately.

No additional work will be carried out without your agreement.

12. SEO

SEO is not included in the standard One Page Wonder service.

If you purchase the optional Done-for-You SEO add-on, the SEO work will be completed according to the scope outlined at the time of purchase.

The Done-for-You SEO add-on does not guarantee specific Google rankings, traffic levels, search positions or visibility in AI-powered search.

If you do not purchase the SEO add-on, responsibility for ongoing SEO optimisation rests with you.

13. WEBSITE ACCESS & OWNERSHIP

You will retain ownership of your Squarespace account, domain and website once the project has been completed and paid for in full.

You are responsible for maintaining your Squarespace subscription and website after the project has been completed.

The Alchemy of Design retains ownership of its original design processes, methods, templates, systems and intellectual property that are not specific to your website.

14. PORTFOLIO & MARKETING

Unless you request otherwise in writing before the project begins, The Alchemy of Design may display the completed website and associated design work in its portfolio, website, social media and other marketing materials.

If your website contains confidential or unreleased information, please let me know before the project begins.

15. CLIENT APPROVAL

You are responsible for reviewing and approving your website before launch.

Once you have approved the final website and it has been launched, The Alchemy of Design is not responsible for errors that were visible during the review and approval process.

16. PROJECT DELAYS & EXPIRY

One Page Wonder is intended to be a focused project completed within the agreed timeframe.

If a project is significantly delayed because of missing content, feedback, access or client availability, it may need to be rescheduled to a future available project date.

Additional fees may apply if the project needs to be restarted or substantially reworked after a prolonged client delay.
